Research for the Bride to do before the Wedding.
Before the big wedding day, there is a great deal of planning to do. In this case, we are referring to the appearance of the bride. The sooner all of the details of the bride’s gown and makeup are settled, the more relaxed the bride can relax, a little.
Here are some tips on what to get an early start on in the planning phase:
- Before going to a makeup artist, do some research. Look through bridal magazines and wedding websites. Get some pictures and ideas on how you would like yourself to look on your wedding day. The more information you come to the makeup artist with, the better they can work with you to achieve a desired look.
- Also a rule for life, get plenty of sleep. The more rested you are, the more energy you will have and the better you will look.
- Do your best to keep your stress levels down. This will be a hectic planning time in addition to work and whatever other responsibilities you have. So it is wise to start planning as soon as possible, the sooner you get items out of the way, the less stressful your life will be.
- The elements are harsh on your skin, so do what you can to stay out of the sun and avoid wind, rain, and extreme temperatures.
- Seek a beautician early on to start you on treatments for your skin, hair, and nails. Results are not always instantaneous; your body must be conditioned to them. Regular facial and manicure treatments are advised.
- If you plan on dieting, see the rule above. Results are not instant, so begin early on to condition your body.
